Sailboat Race

On July 31st, the New Suffolk Waterfront Fund and members of the Peconic Bay Sailing Association are offering a chance to participate in the Wednesday Night around Robins Island sailboat race! No prior sailing experience is necessary. Come along just for the ride or get involved as a crew member.  The race begins at 6:00 pm with most boats leaving their New Suffolk port around 5:30, and it takes approximately 90 minutes, depending on wind strength.

• Not interested in sailing?  Then join the many who come to the Waterfront Fund’s picnic tables each week to watch the boats sail by! A BBQ will be available for $10.00 for non-PBSA members (participants are encouraged to bring their own beverage). PBSA members pay $5.00.
